CELPIP

The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) is an English language exam given by candidates for proving English language proficiency. This test is accepted by the government of Canada for immigration purposes. Apart from this, the English language proficiency test is also accepted by numerous colleges, universities and other educational institutions in Canada. The test is conducted by Paragon Testing Enterprises, a subsidiary of the University of British Columbia (UBC). There are two versions of the CELPIP exam CELPIP-General, and CELPIP-General LS. CELPIP General Test The CELPIP General test is accepted by IRCC, Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council and the Real Estate Council of British Columbia. In CELPIP General Test, the candidate is monitored on his/her Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking skills. CELPIP-General test is a popular exam taken by those who want to prove English language proficiency while applying for permanent resident status in Canada under the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Start-up Visa Program, Canadian Experience Class (CEC) and numerous Provincial Nominee Programs. This test is also suitable for those looking for employment. CELPIP-General Test is approved by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

CELPIP-General LS Test

The CELPIP-General LS Test analyses the functional Listening and Speaking proficiency of the candidate. This test LS is given by those who need to prove listening and speaking proficiency for getting Canadian citizenship.

Registration fee

The registration fee for the CELPIP Test is INR 10845. CELPIP Registration Form (PDF) - Registration through this form can be done within Canada only. To register for a CELPIP Test, candidates need to make payment through Money order. Registration for the CELPIP test closes one business day before the test date or if the sitting is full, whichever is earlier.
